About the Team

Midwood Investment & Development is dedicated to creating vibrant communities in Pittsburgh's historic neighborhoods. We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Cork Factory and Lot 24 in the heart of the Strip District. These properties house approximately 400 units and serve as a hub for residents who enjoy the area's amazing restaurants and shops.

About the Role

This role is perfect for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be the hero who keeps our residents' apartments comfortable and functional. You will balance technical problem-solving with exceptional customer service, ensuring residents are smiling while you tackle a variety of projects ranging from routine maintenance to special initiatives.

Your day-to-day involves responding to resident work orders, completing apartment turns (including basic plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, painting, and appliance replacement), and maintaining property grounds. You will also participate in a rotating on-call schedule for urgent after-hours needs and handle snow removal during winter months.
