About the Role
We are seeking a Mainframe z/VM & Linux Engineer to support and evolve our IBM Mainframe network infrastructure environments. In this 6+ month contract role based in the Phoenix, AZ metro area, you will serve as a key technical resource for our hybrid team.
You will be responsible for administering z/VM and Linux on IBM Z environments, ensuring system stability and performance. Your day-to-day will involve managing system capacity planning, executing upgrades, and configuring Linux virtual servers. Additionally, you will play a vital role in supporting our virtualization technologies and driving automation initiatives to modernize our infrastructure operations.
