This position is designed for individuals who take pride in ensuring the production of high-quality products at all times. You will be the eyes and ears on the production floor, responsible for monitoring, reporting, and optimizing process parameters to maintain efficiency. The role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting mechanical or process issues as they arise and supporting changeover activities when necessary.
A key part of your day involves ensuring that all raw materials are available and defect-free before use, while simultaneously monitoring material waste and reporting any inconsistencies. You will also be expected to adhere strictly to housekeeping rules, keeping the work area clean according to the established cleaning plan. Success in this role requires acting in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times, adhering to all ALPLA policies, procedures, and Safety Standards (OSHA).
This is an entry-level position located in Salt Lake City (SLC). Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent and a technical or mechanical background in the plastics industry are encouraged to apply.
