About the Role
This entry-level Machine Operator I position is based in our Colorado Springs, CO machine shop. You will join a team-oriented group dedicated to producing high-quality parts for the aerospace industry. The role focuses on assisting with the setup and operation of CNC band saws and radial saws, while supporting various manufacturing processes to ensure precision and efficiency.
In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining the proper condition of measuring instruments and ensuring optimal cutting conditions on machining centers. Your day-to-day activities will involve monitoring machinery operations, verifying that materials and products meet strict industry standards, and performing data entry tasks using basic PC skills. As a team member, you will also be expected to learn how to set equipment for production and adapt to the dynamic needs of the shop, including availability for overtime as required.
