This position is built for an experienced tracked vehicle mechanic who understands military maintenance environments, recovery vehicle platforms, and the complexities of troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in the field. As an M88A2 Field Service Technician in Fort Cavazos, Texas, you will provide essential field maintenance support on the M88A1/A2 Recovery Vehicle platform.
You will partner closely with military personnel and field service teams to perform diagnostics, repairs, and technical assistance. Your work ensures that tracked combat and recovery vehicles remain operational, supporting critical maintenance activities through scheduled and unscheduled interventions. This role demands a high level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to safety while navigating the unique challenges of field operations. Travel may be required based on operational needs.
