About the Role
The EWP Yard Associate is the backbone of our outdoor operations, ensuring engineered wood products are handled with the utmost safety and precision. This physically demanding position focuses on the end-to-end flow of materials: receiving, cutting, staging, and loading according to specific customer requirements. Success in this role hinges on a commitment to product quality and the ability to maintain accurate inventory while working efficiently in varying weather conditions.
Day in the Life
You will operate advanced forklifts and utilize power tools, including chainsaws and circular saws, to build job packages that meet exact specifications. Your day involves inspecting incoming and outgoing materials to identify and dispose of damaged products, ensuring only high-quality items reach our customers. You will also be responsible for maintaining clean, dry, and organized outdoor storage areas to preserve product integrity. The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds and working outdoors for extended periods, demanding a strong focus on safety procedures at every step.
Shift Details
This is a Monday through Friday role, running from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Overtime is available as business needs dictate.
