About the Role
Encompass Health seeks a compassionate LPN/LVN to deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. In this role, you'll support individualized rehab plans by administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient status, and providing education to patients and families.
Working within a nurturing, dynamic, and rewarding environment, you'll collaborate closely with RNs, therapists, and physicians to promote optimal recovery, safety, and independence while advancing your clinical skills and career growth in rehab-focused care.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct LPN/LVN nursing care to rehabilitation patients under RN and physician direction
- check_circleAdminister medications and treatments including wound care and IV therapy per scope
- check_circleMonitor, document, and report patient status and response to rehabilitation plans
- check_circleParticipate in interdisciplinary care planning and team conferences
- check_circleEducate patients and families on rehabilitation processes, medications, and self-care
- check_circleMaintain accurate electronic medical records and follow all safety protocols
- check_circleConduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs and telemetry
Requirements
- verifiedActive LPN or LVN license in state of practice
- verifiedBLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- verifiedIV certification (preferred)
- verifiedWound care certification (preferred)
