About the Role

We are seeking a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the GSS SD Sf Luth Mnr facility in Sioux Falls, SD. In this role, you will provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in a long-term care setting. Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, you will be responsible for assessing resident needs, administering medications and treatments, and documenting care outcomes.

You will serve as a vital member of an interdisciplinary care team, establishing effective working relationships with residents, families, and healthcare providers. Your duties include counseling residents and families on prevention and treatment plans, recognizing problems, and responding effectively to emergent situations. This position focuses on maintaining a supportive environment that addresses both the physical and psychosocial needs of our senior community.

Schedule and Compensation

This is a part-time position offering 24 hours per week on night shifts. The schedule is based on a rotating 6-week cycle, with shifts typically falling on Tuesdays and Wednesdays or Wednesdays and Thursdays. Notably, this role does not require weekend work. The base pay ranges from $26.00 to $36.00 per hour, depending on experience, with additional overnight shift differentials. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for part-time nurses. There is also the option to pick up extra hours if desired.
