About the Role
At the Gss Nd Mandan Sunset facility in Mandan, ND, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) serves as a vital member of the interdisciplinary care team. You will provide professional nursing care to residents of all ages in a long-term care setting, working under the supervision of registered nurses, advanced practice providers, or physicians.
Your day-to-day involves ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of our residents. You will contribute to resident assessments, administer medications and treatments as ordered, and document care outcomes related to behavior, activity, and dietary needs. A key part of your role is counseling residents and their families on prevention and treatment plans, utilizing your knowledge of resident education principles to develop self-care programs. You will also be prepared to recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively during emergent situations.
