About June Shelton School
Founded in 1976, June Shelton School & Evaluation Center is the world's largest independent school for bright children with learning differences. We are dedicated to serving and empowering students who learn differently. While the school is the centerpiece of our mission, we are more than just an educational institution; we encompass a speech and language therapy program, an evaluation center, and a teacher-training program, all open to the community.
We are a co-educational, non-sectarian school accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest (ISAS), serving approximately 900 students in grades EC to 12. Our commitment to excellence extends to active research collaborations with major medical institutions in the Dallas area, including Children's Medical Center and UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Requirements
- verified3+ years of elementary education teaching experience desired
- verifiedBachelors Degree in Education, Child/Human Development, or Special Education required
- verifiedIf degree is in related area, minimum of twelve credit hours in Education required
- verifiedMasters Degree, Montessori training, and/or Language Therapy training preferred
- verifiedExperience working with students with learning differences
