Low Voltage Technician

About the Role

The Low Voltage Technician is responsible for installing, servicing, and testing electronic security systems across residential, commercial, and industrial environments. This role encompasses burglar and fire alarms, CCTV, access control systems, and all related electronic security equipment. The position exists to ensure the safe and proper installation of alarm systems and devices in compliance with fire and electrical codes.

Technicians are expected to possess the core values of Per Mar Security: Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability. The role involves not only technical execution but also customer interaction, requiring the ability to explain and demonstrate how installed systems function to clients.

We offer a compensation structure based on skill level and experience, with starting pay ranging from $20 to $35 per hour. Additionally, there is a monthly incentive program offering up to 10% of your annual pay. Technicians have the opportunity to earn more based on individual drive and a willingness to learn new tasks.

Hiring Process

Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass background checks and drug tests. Successful applicants must be able to obtain specified licenses and certifications required to perform work in the security industry according to the rules and regulations of the state in which the branch operates. A high school diploma or GED is required for all Per Mar Security Services positions.
