About the Opportunity
McLaren Northern Michigan, a top-tier health system in Petoskey, MI, is seeking a Certified Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner to serve as a Nocturnist. This role addresses a critical recruitment gap within the inpatient service, ensuring continuous, high-quality care for adult patients outside of the ICU/CCU setting.
The Role
You will cover the hospital call from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, working a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation. This position runs from June 9, 2026, through January 1, 2027. The role offers a dynamic day-in-the-life where you will manage variable inpatient volumes supported by nighttime APP coverage and collaboration with a Nocturnist Physician. You will utilize the Cerner EHR to deliver comprehensive care in a supportive team environment.
