About the Team
Universal Intermodal services all major US Ports and intermodal Rail Ramps, offering domestic door-to-door drayage to and from Ports, Rails, and Customer Facilities. Operating from 40 terminals and eight container yards, we provide Chassis, Containers, Drayage, and Services for Imports, Exports, and Domestic moves.
About the Role
We are currently seeking multiple skilled Owner/Operator Truck Drivers to join our dynamic team at our terminal in the Kansas City, MO area. This position is vital for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of freight across designated local routes. As a Truck Driver, you will play an essential role in maintaining our reputation for quality service while enjoying the benefit of home nightly.

Requirements
- verifiedValid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- verifiedMinimum 6 months tractor trailer driving experience
- verifiedOwnership of a reliable, DOT-compliant 2005 or newer tractor
- verifiedClean driving record and background check
- verifiedKnowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations
- verifiedNo DUI/OWI in the last 5 years
- verifiedNo more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
- verifiedNo more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
Nice to Have
Experience with dedicated local routes. Strong communication and organizational skills. Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
