Local Truck Driver - Dry Van

About the Role

We are immediately hiring a Dedicated Solo Class A CDL Driver to join our team in Golden, CO. This position offers a local home-daily route, allowing you to return home every night while working with a company that values your safety and independence. As a Ryder Driver, you are the Captain of your vehicle, empowered to make safety decisions with the assurance that your job is protected.

The Day-to-Day

You will operate a Day Cab tractor with a 53' Dry Van trailer, focusing primarily on yard and shuttling duties within a 3-mile radius. The freight is non-touch, meaning the role centers on yard switching and requires strong backing skills, which make up 90% of the job. You will follow a consistent schedule of 5 days on and 2 days off, starting at 9:45 PM. Ryder supports your operations with 24/7 roadside maintenance and access to fuel at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.
