WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. This role is ideal for an ICU-trained RN with strong clinical judgment, rapid assessment skills, and the ability to manage complex, high-acuity patients.
In this position, you will evaluate and continuously monitor patient progress in the ICU, identifying sudden or subtle changes in condition to intervene appropriately. You will provide timely updates to physicians, patients, and family members while initiating treatments, administering medications, and monitoring dosing. The role requires responding to medical emergencies, activating appropriate clinical teams, and delivering comprehensive care throughout the patient's ICU stay. You will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and adjusting individualized care plans, as well as completing all required documentation prior to patient transfer.
