Wooster Motor Ways is hiring a dependable, safety-first Company Driver to haul freight across our regional lanes. We offer steady miles, a team that looks out for you, and a clear pay structure that rewards safe, experienced drivers.
Based in Argos, Indiana, our operations focus on efficient regional lanes with drop-and-hook capabilities on the front end and live unloads on the back. Drivers run routes to Bolingbrook and Fort Wayne, enjoying daily or weekend home time depending on the specific route assigned.
You will operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, general commodities, and specialized cargo. This role is designed for drivers who take their job seriously, prioritizing safety and reliability. You will be responsible for performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing cargo, and maintaining accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation.
Our equipment includes International LT trucks fully equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, TV, premium driver's seat, and an auxiliary power unit (APU) to ensure your comfort on the road. We also cover the full cost of your initial HazMat certification and provide weight ticket reimbursements at face value.
We foster a professional work environment where drivers are valued. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, and 8 paid holidays per year. Paid vacation accrues based on tenure: 1 week after 6 months, 1 additional week after 12 months, 3 weeks after 7 years, and 4 weeks after 15 years. All hourly work is paid as straight time, and we offer additional pay for detention and breakdowns.
