About the Role
As a Company Driver, you will haul freight across our regional lanes, primarily operating routes between Argos and Bowling Brook or Argos and Fort Wayne. This role involves drop-and-hook operations on the front end and live unloads on the back, offering a consistent schedule from Monday through Friday. You will be responsible for transporting general commodities and specialized cargo, ensuring all pickups and deliveries meet strict time windows.
Your day-to-day involves operating International LT trucks equipped with premium amenities, including a microwave, refrigerator, TV, and auxiliary power unit (APU) for comfort on the road. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate HOS logs, and handle all necessary DOT/FMCSA documentation. Beyond driving, you will verify bills of lading, collect signatures, and perform basic vehicle maintenance to keep trailers clean and ready for the next run.
Hiring Process
To join our team, candidates must possess a valid Class A CDL with at least one year of experience and be able to pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements. While a HazMat endorsement and TWIC card are preferred, they are not strictly required. We cover the full cost of your initial HazMat certification if you choose to obtain it.
