About the Role

As a Class A truck driver, you will be the backbone of our logistics team, responsible for delivering high-quality merchandise to various locations. This role is designed for drivers who take pride in their craft and want to maintain a consistent work-life balance. You will be making multiple stops per day, ensuring you are home daily, while adhering to all transportation regulatory compliance standards.

Your day will involve safely and efficiently delivering countertop and flooring materials. You will play a key role in the loading, unloading, and proper securing of cargo, skillfully positioning blocks, ties, straps, chains, and binders to ensure everything arrives in perfect condition. While you will work independently, maintaining focus is essential. You will need to adapt to changing road conditions, prioritize a customer-centric approach, and uphold a commitment to delivering quality service. A polite demeanor and strong communication skills are vital as you interact with fellow road users and customers.

Occasionally, based on business needs, you may be required to run a 2-day route once or twice per month, with weekends spent at home. This position is safety-sensitive and requires a constant state of alertness and proficiency in maintaining a legal and accurate logbook.

Hiring Process

Candidates must successfully complete a driving test and all DOT pre-employment requirements. We look for safety-minded individuals who can interpret bills of lading and picking sheets accurately. Experience utilizing an iPad or tablet is preferred, and bilingual candidates in Spanish are highly encouraged to apply.
