We are seeking an experienced Linear Ad Operations Specialist or Manager to serve as the operational backbone for our linear TV advertising campaigns. In this contract role based in New York, you will be the critical link between sales planning and execution, ensuring that complex broadcast deals are translated into flawless, on-air schedules.
This position exists to bridge the gap between revenue generation and delivery. You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of ad operations, from initial order entry and inventory allocation to final reconciliation and billing adjustments. Your work ensures that advertisers receive exactly what they purchased, while our internal teams maintain operational excellence and compliance.
Your day will be a dynamic mix of technical precision and cross-functional collaboration. You will spend significant time operating and maintaining broadcast trafficking systems like WideOrbit or OSI, meticulously scheduling commercials to maximize inventory yield. A large portion of your time will be dedicated to coordinating with sales, finance, programming, and traffic teams to resolve discrepancies, manage makegoods, and optimize workflows.
You will act as the primary point of contact for campaign accuracy, monitoring performance metrics and ensuring strict adherence to network and advertiser requirements. As the industry evolves, you will also support cross-platform initiatives, helping to integrate linear operations with CTV and digital efforts where applicable.
