Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic practices
- check_circleAssess, diagnose, and treat individuals with various mental and emotional disorders
- check_circleMaintain confidentiality and records of therapy sessions in compliance with legal and ethical codes
- check_circleHelp patients develop skills and behaviors necessary to recover from their disorders
- check_circleParticipate in continuing education, workshops, or seminars to stay current with therapy practices
- check_circleCollaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or coordinate treatment plans
Requirements
- verifiedCurrent LPC license in the state of practice
- verifiedExperience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- verifiedCertification in CBT, DBT, or other specialized therapeutic approaches preferred
Nice to Have
Certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other specialized therapeutic approaches.
