About the Role
Central Maine Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this position, you will deliver safe, compassionate bedside care, serving as a vital link between patients, families, and the broader care team. The role exists to ensure high-quality outcomes through accurate assessments, timely medication administration, and effective patient education, all while supporting discharge readiness.
You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of RNs, physicians, and care providers to implement comprehensive care plans. Your day-to-day involves performing focused patient assessments, monitoring vital signs, and documenting care accurately in the electronic medical record. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a key role in maintaining a respectful, compassionate, and culturally sensitive environment, actively participating in quality improvement and patient experience initiatives.
