As a Lead Supplier Program Manager (SPM) within the Supply Chain team, you will manage the critical relationship between Saab programs and their key suppliers. Your role is vital to the success and timely execution of Saab programs, ensuring that material deliveries align with strategic goals. You will serve as the primary point of contact for supplier performance, coordinating weekly teleconferences to review purchase order status, material schedules, and anticipated deliveries.
In this position, you will lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with critical suppliers, addressing performance in quality, cost, and delivery. You will also drive the resolution of technical and programmatic issues, develop material forecasts to support revenue commitments, and provide leadership with weekly updates on program milestones and risks. This role requires a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on execution, often involving travel to support program and business development efforts.

Professional certification or advanced degree. 5+ years of experience in a production and/or development environment, preferably within aerospace and defense. Experience supporting U.S. Government, DoD, or FAA contracts. Cross-functional experience working with Quality, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, or Program Management. Continuous improvement experience (e.g., Black Belt, Green Belt). Understanding of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS). Experience interacting with programs and reporting to business leadership.
