This Lead RN position serves as a vital operational anchor within the Transfer Center. You will oversee daily operations to ensure alignment with departmental goals, acting as the primary point of contact for the team in the absence of Transfer Center leadership. The role requires you to bridge the gap between staff and management, effectively communicating issues and collaborating with leadership to resolve them.
In this capacity, you will play a critical role in emergency operations and serve as a liaison to improve current workflows by identifying inefficiencies. Your day-to-day involves monitoring the call queue, overseeing the orientation of new staff through preceptor collaboration, and managing the quality assurance and analysis of data, reports, and phone calls. You will also assist management with scheduling and covering open shifts to maintain seamless operations.
