We're looking for a Lead Marketing Manager of SEO & GEO who is equally comfortable building a SEO strategy in a Google Doc and shipping a structured data fix in collaboration with an engineer. You will own Care.com's organic search presence end-to-end — from identifying opportunities to seeing them through to production, and be a key voice in how AI-driven search and answer engines shape our future growth.
This is not a strategy-only role. We expect you to be hands-on keyboard, deeply analytical, and execution-focused. You will define and drive Care.com's strategy for visibility in AI-generated results, including Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity. Your work will ensure we are the answer, not just a result, by optimizing entity coverage, content structure, and schema.
In this position, SEO is built into the product lifecycle, not bolted on afterward. You will partner with engineering from requirements through QA, writing tickets and joining sprints to triage issues and ship fixes. You will also own the full content cycle from keyword brief to published page, building scalable frameworks for programmatic SEO across Care.com's care categories.
As the SEO authority for Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Data, you will align with Paid on SERP strategy and build dashboards that make organic performance impossible to ignore.
