As a Capital One Machine Learning Engineer on the GenAI Workflows Serving team, you will join an Agile group dedicated to designing, building, and productionizing Generative AI applications and Agentic Workflow systems at massive scale. Our mission is to drive innovation by collaborating closely with multiple AI/ML teams to continuously apply the latest best practices in machine learning engineering.
This role is designed for a Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background as a Software Engineer. Your day-to-day involves participating in detailed technical design, development, and implementation of cloud-native platforms. You will focus on building robust ML serving architectures, developing high-performance application code, and ensuring the high availability, security, and low latency of our Generative AI solutions.
You will work in a collaborative environment where you design and implement cloud-native ML Serving Platforms, solve complex scaling problems, and implement advanced MLOps and GitOps practices. A key part of your responsibility is ensuring that all code is well-managed to reduce vulnerabilities and that models are governed from a risk perspective, adhering to best practices in Responsible and Explainable AI.
