This position serves as a vital operational support pillar for the restaurant management team, ensuring seamless execution of daily activities. The role is designed to supervise restaurant operations during non-peak service hours and other times as needed, acting as a key extension of the Restaurant General Manager's leadership.
In this capacity, you will be the face of the brand during your shifts, responsible for maintaining high standards of hospitality and Speed of Service (SOS). Your day-to-day involves executing the shift plan, monitoring food preparation and register procedures, and ensuring strict adherence to cash handling policies. You will provide direction to team members, oversee cleaning processes, and monitor labor usage to align with company objectives.
Beyond operational oversight, this role plays a crucial part in team development by assisting with the training and cross-training of hourly staff. You will also serve as a frontline observer for performance and discipline issues, advising the General Manager as necessary. Ultimately, you will ensure that every aspect of the shift—from food safety and cleanliness to suggestive selling and product freshness—meets the rigorous standards of the Brand and PTC.
