We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer to drive end-to-end MarTech engineering initiatives, serving as the architect for the systems that power real-time marketing experiences and automated customer journeys. In this hybrid role based in San Francisco, you will bridge the gap between complex business needs and robust technical solutions, ensuring our data pipelines are scalable, reliable, and capable of handling high-volume customer engagement.
You will lead a team of engineers within a Product Operations (POD) structure, elevating engineering standards and fostering a culture of operational excellence. Your day-to-day involves designing orchestration workflows using enterprise-grade tools like Adobe Campaign and building high-performance big data applications on Azure. Beyond technical execution, you will champion modern engineering practices, including the integration of AI-assisted development tools like Vibe Coding to accelerate delivery and innovation.
Candidates selected for this contract role will undergo a streamlined interview process focused on technical depth and leadership fit. The journey includes an initial screening to verify W2 eligibility and hybrid availability, followed by a technical deep-dive into system design and MarTech architecture.
