Program Overview

Peraton provides USSOCOM, its Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), deployed forces, CIO/J6, and end-users with high-quality IT platform and network services over an eight-year period. The Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order is designed to maintain Network Operations (NetOps), systems, and network infrastructure while providing end-user support, configuration management, and training. These efforts are pivotal to the CIO/J6 organization and the end-users who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

About the Role

This position is located at MacDill AFB in Florida. The Lead CSW Engineer serves as a project-focused leader responsible for the architecture, strategy, and technical leadership for the initial implementation of the organization's microsegmentation capability. You will lead the design and deployment of workload segmentation using Cisco Secure Workload to establish a baseline for reducing lateral movement risk. This is a strategic role focused on building the initial framework and successfully handing it off to an operations team. Your work will define the enterprise microsegmentation architecture, establish classification models and standards, and guide engineers through the application onboarding and policy design phases. Ultimately, you will ensure the sustainment team is fully equipped with comprehensive documentation and training to maintain the new security posture.
