We combine the power of strategy, execution, and partnership to accelerate digital transformational outcomes for organizations around the globe. Our mission is to create a profitable growth company that is also a Great Place to Work for All, a commitment recognized 14 years in a row by Fortune and Great Place to Work®.
Through our Advanced Technology Center, we operate a collaborative ecosystem of the world's most advanced hardware and software solutions. This allows us to help clients and partners conceptualize, test, and validate innovative technology solutions for the best business outcomes before deploying them at scale through our global warehousing, distribution, and integration capabilities. The Government Services team provides cleared resources with a global reach to federal civilian, Department of Defense (DoD), and intelligence community markets. We excel at delivering innovative, operationally ready, and cost-effective IT solutions that accelerate the interoperability and resiliency of mission-critical systems. This team operates within a collaborative ecosystem designed to support high-stakes environments where precision and reliability are paramount.
As a Data Center Administrator, you will be a vital part of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency's operations, blending policy management with hands-on engineering. You will work within an Agile Framework to plan and successfully complete all initiatives, ensuring the seamless monitoring and maintenance of data center operations.
Your day will involve collaborating with Technical Points of Contact (TPOCs) to define the processes and standards that govern data center activities. You will track and report resource consumption—including power, cooling, and rack space—to the Government, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and required Service Level Objectives (SLOs). From building and maintaining detailed data center diagrams to coordinating equipment installation and logistics, you will ensure the physical and operational integrity of the facility. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting hardware issues, managing network and power cabling, and providing 24/7 support to respond to emergency incidents affecting mission-essential services.
This position is based primarily at Fort Belvoir, VA, with a temporary secondary location in Reston, VA. The role demands a high level of physical engagement, including server rack moving, installing, grounding, and cable management. You will work in a cleared environment, requiring strict adherence to security protocols and safety programs. The team operates with a focus on efficiency, requiring you to coordinate maintenance windows, manage vendor escorts, and ensure the sanitization and turn-in of equipment through DLA Disposition Services.
WWT strives to create an environment where all employees are empowered to succeed based on their skills, performance, and dedication. We cultivate a culture of belonging that encourages innovation, collaboration, and respect for all team members. We are committed to being a Great Place to Work for All, ensuring that our unique blend of determination and innovation continues to drive success for our people, clients, and communities.
