Founded in 2002, Model Remodel is a Seattle-based general contractor dedicated to the principles of quality, personal excellence, and professional integrity. We operate on the belief that building and remodeling can make you smile. Our culture is defined by longevity, with many employees celebrating 5 to 15-year anniversaries, creating an exceptional environment for great talent to grow.
As a Lead Carpenter – Supervisor, you will be the central orchestrator of our residential remodeling projects. This role is designed for a motivated, honest, and reliable individual who brings both professionalism and deep hands-on experience to the team. You will manage and coordinate all crew carpenters, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and necessary building inspections, ensuring seamless collaboration with King County and Seattle City entities.
Beyond management, you will maintain a professional and safe project site at all times, handle timely ordering of building materials and permits, and perform high-level carpentry tasks across all phases of a remodel—from demolition to finish work. We are particularly interested in candidates with green/sustainable building experience who are eager to stay current with industry trends and techniques.
We foster an open-door communication policy that ensures accessibility to management and ownership. Our team enjoys a competitive pay range ($35–$52/hour), comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a generous PTO accrual that increases with tenure. Additional perks include company-paid life insurance, an employer-matched retirement plan, mileage reimbursement, uniforms, and a cell phone allowance.
Please submit your cover letter and resume, including references, to express your interest. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider qualified applicants regardless of background. Please note that sponsorship is not available for this position; candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
