About the Role
Our Lead Associates provide store leadership in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant to the Manager, demonstrating to the store staff our commitment to friendly customer service and teamwork. This role requires integrity and resourcefulness, and you must enjoy a varied and very fast-paced environment.
In this position, you will serve as a vital link in our operations, ensuring the store runs smoothly from opening to closing. You will be responsible for closing the store, reconciling cash with daily sales reports, and securing the facility for the night. Your day will involve preparing and maintaining records of store operations, including daily sales reports, cash deposits, and opening/closing reports, as well as conducting necessary inspections.
Beyond administrative duties, you will engage directly with our community through cash register and customer service interactions. You will also play a hands-on role in our donation processing, including receiving, pricing, and stocking donations. This may involve lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds occasionally, and frequently lifting and carrying 10 to 35 pounds. Additionally, you will participate in a production-style setting, hanging, inspecting, and tagging textiles and clothing.
