About the Role

As a Lead Applications Engineer – DMS, you will serve as a key technical leader, driving the design, development, and delivery of critical functionality across Distribution Management Systems (DMS), SCADA, and modeling applications. This role exists to bridge the gap between complex engineering requirements and high-quality software solutions.

In this position, you will partner with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project stakeholders, and customers, to define functional requirements and guide design decisions. Your day-to-day involves resolving complex technical challenges, leading interface discussions with utilities and ISOs, and ensuring the successful delivery of advanced power systems applications. You will provide technical leadership to system and application engineers, fostering a collaborative environment where design standards are upheld and innovation thrives.

Hiring Process

Candidates selected for this role will be considered for opportunities in our key locations: Atlanta, GA; Bellevue, WA; or Melbourne, FL. We welcome those excited about the opportunity to relocate and grow with GE Vernova. The role operates on a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence up to three days per week.
