We are seeking a highly skilled LaunchDarkly Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale feature management solutions. This role is critical for enabling progressive delivery, feature experimentation, controlled rollouts, and release governance across distributed applications.
As a LaunchDarkly Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will partner closely with Engineering, Product, Architecture, and DevOps teams to establish robust feature flag lifecycle management processes. Your day-to-day will involve configuring environments and access controls, integrating SDKs into web, mobile, and backend applications, and building automated deployment and rollback mechanisms. You will also be responsible for creating governance standards, mentoring engineering teams on adoption, and troubleshooting production issues to ensure platform observability and reliability.

LaunchDarkly Certification or equivalent experience. Experience with OpenFeature framework. Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems. Experience implementing experimentation platforms. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments. Experience in financial services, banking, healthcare, or other regulated industries. Exposure to large-scale cloud-native applications serving millions of users. Golang, Java, .NET, or Node.js development experience. Kafka, Redis, DynamoDB, or distributed caching technologies. Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. Feature experimentation and analytics integrations. Cloud-native observability platforms such as Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, or Prometheus.
