As a Launch Industrial Engineer at General Assembly, you will partner closely with Workstation Designers to craft operator-friendly workstations on the shop floor. Your mission is to enable the production of high-quality vehicles with maximum efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive vertical launches for all new programs, ensuring a seamless integration of production systems and Workplace Integration (WPI) strategies.
In this role, you will master man-assignments and line balancing to minimize station rearrangements and reduce disruptions to existing production flows. Working alongside Station Designers, you will design, layout, and optimize workstations for General Assembly Shops in preparation for new program launches within a specified assembly plant. Additionally, you will coordinate with the WPI Team to align various aspects of a new program launch, delivering a cohesive vertical launch experience.
