Walmart is expanding its workforce across local retail stores, seeking dynamic individuals to join our grounds maintenance teams. As the U.S.'s largest private employer, we aim to create a culture where every associate feels valued for who they are and is rooted in respect for the individual. Our vision is "everyone included," fostering a workplace where everyone is—and feels—included. Approximately 90% of the U.S. population lives within 10 miles of a Walmart or Sam's Club, and our associates reflect the makeup of all of America, as well as the 18 other countries where we operate.
As a Landscape Technician, you will play a crucial role in overseeing landscape projects and collaborating with a dedicated team to maintain the grounds year-round. You will work alongside fellow associates to manage all aspects of landscaping and exterior maintenance, ensuring parking lots, exterior buildings, and surrounding areas remain pristine. This role requires adhering to stringent safety, security, and integrity protocols while upholding cleanliness standards. You will be part of a team that values innovation, teamwork, and excellence, where your expertise and dedication will make a real impact on the environment our customers and communities experience.
We are committed to supporting your growth and well-being. Full-time associates are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, and life insurance, as well as a 401k plan with a company match. We also offer a Walmart Associate Stock Purchase Plan and a Tuition Reimbursement Program through Live Better University, which covers tuition, books, and fees for programs ranging from high school completion to bachelor's degrees.
Our culture of belonging extends to our customers and communities. We operate sensory-friendly hours in all stores and offer specialized shopping carts for individuals with disabilities. As one of the most charitable companies in the Fortune 500, we prioritize issues meaningful to our business and customers, giving away over 8% of our profits annually.
