We are proud to be "where the pets go" and "where the pet people go." For more than 60 years, we have been dedicated to improving lives by doing what's right for pets and people. Our mission is to help pets live their best lives, placing the needs of pets and pet parents at the center of everything we do.
Today, we are a team of 29,000+ partners nurturing the pet-human bond across more than 1,500 stores in the U.S., Mexico, and Puerto Rico, alongside hundreds of Vetco Total Care hospitals and preventive care clinics. Through our Petco Love initiative, founded in 1999, we support thousands of local animal welfare groups and have helped find homes for approximately 7 million animals.
