About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounting Associate to join our finance department. This role is pivotal in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring the timely processing of transactions, and supporting critical month-end close activities. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and comfortable working within established accounting procedures while actively contributing to process improvements.
In this position, you will serve as a key operational partner, managing the flow of financial data from credit card transactions in Bizplay and GroupWare to their integration into SAP. Your day-to-day work involves entering daily bank transactions, processing payments to suppliers and customers, and performing regular bank reconciliations to investigate discrepancies. You will also play a vital role in compliance by reconciling sales tax collected to returns and assisting with chargeback dispute resolution through detailed transaction analysis and documentation.
Beyond daily operations, you will contribute to the streamlining of U.S. accounting processes, specifically focusing on credit card expense management systems. You will also support intercompany alignment by assisting with reconciliation tasks for our Korea offices. Throughout your tenure, you will be expected to communicate financial issues or discrepancies to the management team clearly and concisely, ensuring that standard accounting policies and internal controls are strictly adhered to for consistency and accuracy.
