About the Role

DIRECTV is seeking an experienced and strategic IT Technical Portfolio Manager to oversee and ensure the successful delivery of key initiatives within business-aligned portfolios. This critical role serves as a bridge between IT teams and company stakeholders, partnering to understand portfolio needs and deliver outcomes that directly support organizational goals.

As a governance-focused leader, you will be accountable for the successful delivery of all key business-sponsored initiatives. You will ensure that IT teams meet their commitments across various portfolios, ranging from strategic initiatives to essential business-supporting work. This position requires expertise in managing complex IT programs while maintaining strong partner relationships to drive technological advancement and tangible business value.

The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on program management expertise. You will navigate complex organizational structures, build strong relationships, and maintain rigorous governance while driving the execution of challenging IT programs. This is an opportunity for a seasoned IT leader to shape the delivery of critical initiatives, ensuring alignment between IT investments and business objectives.

Work Environment & Logistics

This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere in the contiguous United States. The role requires a minimum of approximately 10% travel. Please note that due to job duties requiring routine access to DIRECTV and customer proprietary data, a background check may be required.

Requirements
