CGS is seeking an IT Project Manager to assist with the design, development, and oversight of ongoing efforts within the IT department of a large federal entity. This role is designed for a candidate who is excited to contribute to government innovation and appreciates the power of collaboration. You will act as a team lead and primary liaison, bridging the gap between technical teams and agency stakeholders.
In this position, you will champion ongoing process improvement initiatives and deliver an agile transformation plan to move the organization from its current state to a desired state. You will manage the team in making critical business decisions regarding system implementation, modification, and maintenance, while ensuring the delivery of value through regular and timely progress. The role requires a deep understanding of Agile project management principles for both large and small projects, as well as the ability to monitor overall cost, schedule adherence, and technical quality.
