About the Role

We are seeking an Information System Security Office (ISSO) to support a large enterprise IT contract for the Department of Defense. This role is critical for maintaining the security posture of systems operating in the production environment throughout the sustainment portion of the system lifecycle.

In this position, you will be the guardian of our Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation. You will utilize the XACTA system to update documentation in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) System Security Package (SSP), verify systems are operating in their intended manner, and validate administrator permissions. Beyond documentation, you will promote security best practices, identify process improvements, and conduct testing to sustain required accreditations. You will also assist in tracking, documenting, and remediating vulnerabilities identified by the customer's Cyber Security division, providing status updates to government and program leadership.
