About the Role

As an Associate in Santander's Los Angeles Investment Banking coverage team, you will play a pivotal role in a dynamic environment where quantitative and qualitative skills converge. This position is designed for professionals ready to develop technical mastery and deal execution skills across all investment banking products, including M&A, Leveraged Finance, and ECM.

In this role, you will partner with senior bankers to identify and pursue new business opportunities across three key coverage groups: Financial Sponsors, Real Estate, Gaming, Lodging & Leisure ("REGAL"), and Industrial Services. Your day-to-day will involve driving the execution process across the entire transaction lifecycle, from initial deal origination through closing. You will prepare client presentations, pitch books, and financial analyses, ensuring accuracy while adhering to strict execution timelines. Beyond technical execution, you will actively participate in client meetings and deal discussions while mentoring analysts and supporting talent development initiatives.
