Within the shipping line department, this role focuses on ensuring and optimizing vessel loading capacity in a specific area. You will act as an expert for your region, applying trade and pricing policies while managing quote requests from agents and clients. Your work bridges operational efficiency and strategic marketing, ensuring that budget results align with market realities.
You will be responsible for drawing up market research and statistics, regularly communicating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to Line Management, and conducting competitive intelligence to provide strategic recommendations. Additionally, you will participate in defining boarding priorities and assist in drafting the sales budget under the supervision of the Trade and Line Managers, analyzing variances to propose corrective actions.
