This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Internal Medicine physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice at the Harcourt Rd Primary Care facility in Indianapolis. Supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network, you will provide comprehensive, longitudinal care for a diverse patient panel, fostering long-term wellness within the community.
You will join a highly productive team of five physicians in a collaborative setting committed to high-quality patient care. The practice is conveniently located on the main hospital campus and features a full lab with phlebotomists and a part-time Medical Wellness RN. Your day-to-day will involve managing a manageable daily volume of approximately 20-22 patients, ensuring every individual receives the time and attention they deserve. You will also have the opportunity to utilize your procedural skills by performing small, in-office procedures such as punch biopsies and minor lesion removal, while empowering patients through education on disease prevention and health maintenance.
Beyond clinical duties, you will invest in the future of medicine by engaging in the rewarding opportunity to teach Interns and Residents from the esteemed Ascension/St. Vincent program. The role offers a standard Monday-Friday work week (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM) with the welcome option of a four-day work week. Call responsibility is limited to Monday through Thursday, with a manageable 1:5 weekend rotation and only one required holiday per year.
Physicians choose Ascension for its physician-led, collaborative culture and long-term practice stability. As part of a national network with local autonomy, you will practice mission-centered care rooted in service.
