About the Role
This opportunity is for an Internal Medicine physician to join an outpatient, fully resident-run practice in Connecticut. The position focuses on clinical supervision and mentorship, offering a unique day-to-day environment where you will work alongside another attending physician to guide the next generation of doctors.
In this role, you will supervise residents during patient encounters, typically with a group of 5-6 learners per session. Your day will involve examining patients jointly with residents, providing constructive verbal feedback, and completing written evaluations. Additionally, you will oversee prescription requests and handle necessary administrative tasks. The schedule is designed for work-life balance, operating Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with no weekends or call duties. A three-day work week is also under consideration. The assignment begins in June or July and continues through at least December.
