The Department of Medicine, led by Aaron Glatt, MD, MACP, comprises nearly 400 members, including a robust hospitalist program and exceptional subspecialists. The department is home to 39 Internal Medicine Residents under the leadership of Steven Weiss, MD, who are transitioning to a brand new state-of-the-art ambulatory site at the end of the academic year. This position is designed to maintain the high quality and excellent ambulatory experience for these residents within a fully integrated Electronic Health Record environment supported by additional staff.

This teaching clinician position focuses exclusively on outpatient care with adult patients, operating Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM with no required hospital care or weekend in-house coverage. The role serves as a university-affiliated, community-based teaching practice where you will benefit from the educational, research, and clinical programs of a nationally ranked Medical School. For those interested in moonlighting, options are available outside of standard hours. Senior candidates have the opportunity to advance into leadership roles, such as Associate Program Director or Site Director of the new facility.
