As a Senior Program Manager, you will serve as the Government's main point of contact, providing overall leadership and guidance for contractor personnel on the program. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of a major program, balancing technical, schedule, cost, and quality performance in strict accordance with contract requirements and company policies.
You will work seamlessly with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and key customer decision-makers to maintain the technical, cost, and schedule baseline while generating essential deliverables. The position requires defining tasks and setting expectations with the customer, while possessing the organizational authority to direct the work of employees and subcontractors. A key aspect of the role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the contract, including staffing, financial management, and efficiency, with a specific focus on LOE, completion, and cost-reimbursable contract types.
In this capacity, you will prepare staffing plans, oversee recruitment and hiring, and assign direction to complete tasks. You will monitor contracts, subcontracts, and funding to prepare financial forecasts, while also developing and delivering required reports. Your proactive approach will be essential in alerting the Government to potential contractual, programmatic, or resource limitations before they become critical issues.
Note: This position is contingent upon the award of the contract.
The application period for this role is estimated to be 30 days from the posting date, though this timeline may be adjusted based on business needs and candidate availability.
