About the Role
ASRC Federal Technical Solutions is seeking an Intelligence Analyst I to join our team in the DC Metro area. In this capacity, you will provide critical support to the IRS Criminal Investigation Division, focusing on the complex landscape of digital asset management and blockchain technology.
This role is designed for a professional with a deep understanding of blockchain ecosystems who can navigate both pre-seizure and post-seizure processes. You will be instrumental in conducting blockchain-based analysis following seizures, confirming related transaction activity, and advising on emerging platforms that may impact the valuation and disposal of seized assets. Your work will involve maintaining current knowledge of digital asset trends and regulatory developments to ensure the team stays ahead of industry best practices.
Day-to-day, you will manage the secure handling of digital assets, including creating wallet addresses, capturing private keys or seed phrases, and transferring assets to and from government-controlled wallets. You will also monitor and track asset movements across government platforms to identify and mitigate discrepancies. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to lead or participate in special projects related to program modernization and security technology trends.
Hiring Process & Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must be United States Citizens with the ability to read, write, understand, and speak common English. The role requires a BA/BS degree plus two years of relevant experience. Selected candidates must be able to pass and maintain a high-risk public trust background investigation.
Successful applicants will be expected to attend digital forensics training offered through Cyber and Forensics Services. Occasional travel may be required to fulfill job duties.
