As a Summer Instructor for the QuickStart program, you will join our Academic Support team to coordinate, plan, prepare, present, and evaluate classroom instruction. This is a temporary, non-exempt position running from July 6th through August 13th, with classes held Monday through Thursday.
You will teach classes aligned with New York State Education Department standards, ensuring each program contains essential curricular components and maintains currency. Your day-to-day involves stimulating enthusiasm for your subject matter, utilizing diverse learning styles to facilitate the best teaching situations, and incorporating instructional technologies into your delivery. You will also be responsible for grading assignments promptly, maintaining accurate attendance records, and referring students to counselors as needed.
Candidates are expected to perform quality work within deadlines, interact professionally with employees and students, and work effectively as both independent contributors and team members. All employees must conform to company conformance standards regarding communication, coordination, and professional conduct.
