The Department of Dermatology at the University of Utah School of Medicine is a patient-focused center distinguished by collaboration, excellence, leadership, and respect. With over 40 faculty members, including five Mohs surgeons, 11 residents, and eight advanced practitioners, our team is committed to fostering a culture of compassion, innovation, accountability, diversity, integrity, quality, and trust.
We are seeking full-time clinical faculty to join our team. In this role, you will see patients across our clinics at the University Hospital, satellite sites, and the nearby VA hospital. You will supervise medical students and residents in the clinical setting, participate in teaching dermatology residents, and engage in research activities focused on clinical dermatology. The rank is dependent upon experience.
The University of Utah is located in the northeast corner of the Salt Lake Valley, just 10 minutes from downtown and adjacent to the foothills of the Wasatch mountains. Most commutes to the University are under 30 minutes, with several neighborhoods just five minutes away. Utah is known for its majestic national parks and boundless mountain and desert activities, offering seven ski resorts less than an hour's drive from Salt Lake City.
