About the Role
We are seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist to join our hospital team and deliver exceptional rehabilitation services. In this position, you will evaluate and treat adult and geriatric patients facing diverse medical, surgical, neurologic, and orthopedic conditions. Your primary focus will be restoring mobility, function, and safety to ensure successful discharges.
You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans. A key part of your day involves documenting care accurately in the EMR and educating patients and their families on exercises, safety protocols, and discharge recommendations. You will also participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to quality improvement initiatives that align with Methodist Health System's core values.

Requirements

Nice to Have
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as Epic.
